Welcome to PoW Planet! We hope this site is a useful set of resources, a cool place to showcase your class’s work and see the work of others, and a community of like-minded teachers interested in using the web to collaborate about math and problem solving internationally.

Here are some ways to use this site:

  • Join the community. Share your contact information with other teachers interested in international collaboration and receive updates when teachers and students are doing interesting work or looking for collaborators.
  • Find photos, videos, and stories for internationally-themed problem posing. Share the problems you create with other classes by commenting on the posts.
  • Solve math problems with an international focus. Become a member of the Math Forum for access to featured Problems of the Week, or stay tuned for special free PoW Planet Problems! Showcase your students’ work or collaborate with classes around the world through Twitter, Google Docs, and more.
  • Help us grow!
    • Send us images, videos, and stories of the math in your community.
    • Help us translate math problems and stories into other languages.
