The Fall 1996 issue of "The ERIC Review" presented information concerning the inclusion of children with disabilities in general education classes. From it we've assembled a set of Web resources devoted to this subject and to special education in general.

Critical Thinking Puzzles (20 January 1997)
Featuring a selection of brain teasers from Michael DiSpezio's new book, Critical Thinking Puzzles. The book offers a wide variety of old favorites and new challenges for problem-solvers of any age.

Russian Math Olympiads (11 January 1997)
20 problems from the Russian Math Olympiad competition of St. Petersburg and 28 from the 1996 Vologda challenge are recent additions to the Forum's Math Tips & Tricks pages.

Mayan Arithmetic (10 January 1997)
A discussion of the importance of the Mayan symbol for zero and a tutorial on adding Mayan numbers by Steven Fought, written when he was a junior at Strath Haven High School in Wallingford, Pennsylvania.

1997 Puzzle (7 January 1997)
Students are challenged to use the digits in 1997 and any operations to write equations that have the numbers from 0 to 100 as the answer. Posted by Ruth Carver, this is one of several activities featured on the Forum's Math Puzzles page.
