Student Tessellations (20 April 1998)

Latest Additions to the Math Forum's Internet Resource Collection (31 March 1998)
Over 150 new entries or updates were made to the database during the month of March.

March Additions to the Dr. Math Archives (31 March 1998)
More than 100 new question-&-answer entries were added to the tables of contents during March 1998.

Math Education and Key Issues for Mathematics (27 March 1998)
The Math Forum's pages on Math Education and Key Issues for Mathematics have been reorganized to improve navigation. For examples, see Technology in Math Education and Equity and Access.

JPBM Congressional Action Network (16 March 1998)
Several new documents have been added to the set of pages the Math Forum hosts for JPBMCAN. Find out how you can become an advocate for mathematics.

Math Forum Advanced Summer Institute (8 March 1998)
This summer the Math Forum will host its third Advanced Summer Institute, Developing Internet Mathematics Projects and Resources, for mathematics educators who are developing high-quality uses of the Internet.

NCTM Standards 2000 Web discussion (8 March 1998)
In conjunction with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Math Forum offers a new discussion group devoted to public input on the NCTM Standards 2000 project to update, clarify, and synthesize K12 mathematics standards in the United States.

BEATCALC Reorganized (7 March 1998)
The Math Forum's BEATCALC archive of B. Clay's mailing list of mental math tricks has been reorganized for greater accessibility. See Squaring Numbers, Multiplying Numbers, etc.
