December additions to the Dr. Math Archives (29 December 2001)
158 new question-&-answer entries were added to the tables of contents during December, for a total of 1565 answers archived in 2001. There are 7,371 answers in the Dr. Math archives.

The Teacher Exchange (18 December 2001)
The Teacher Exchange is a combination of our previous Web Units and Lessons page and the idea of encouraging members of the mathematics education community to contribute their own lessons to the Math Forum @ Drexel site.

MathMagic (3 December 2001)
Challenges in each of four categories (K-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12) are archived and available to download in MS Word file format. MathMagic was a telecommunications project developed in El Paso, Texas by Alan A. Hodson.

MathWorld Interactive (27 November 2001)
Challenges and solutions, organized by age level, and puzzles have been archived. MathWorld Interactive, a project by Carolynn S. Mortensen, began as MathMagic FidoNet in 1991, and was an interactive project on the Math Forum site through May 30, 1999.

Math Line Puzzles (26 November 2001)
Kris Hunt, a member of the Math Forum community, has contributed an additional solution to the M puzzle. Try the puzzle and then view the solutions.

New T2T FAQ (7 November 2001)
Answers to a frequently asked question: Literature and Mathematics: How can I teach mathematics using literature?

November Conference (7 November 2001)
CMC-South's 42nd Annual Fall Conference, November 2-4, 2001: Suzanne Alejandre presented The Math Forum: Helping to Address the Standards to two groups at the California Mathematics Council's conference held in Palm Springs, California.

October Workshop (31 October 2001)
Reflections on Education and Social Justice, October 26 - 27, 2001: Swarthmore College alumni in the field of Education gathered to reflect on the impact of Swarthmore's Program in Education. Kristina Lasher spoke about ways the Math Forum engages in professional development in a panel entitled: Mindful Technology: What Is It? What Issues are Involved in its Implementation?
