The newest Elementary, Middle School, Geometry, Algebra, Discrete Math, and
Trig/Calculus Problems of the Week are posted weekly on
our site. Full participation involves sending answers via email, and receiving
feedback from the project coordinators or visiting math mentors.
Highlighted solutions are also published on the Web.
Ask Dr. Math consists of a large, searchable archive of
answers, organized by topic and grade level, and a Web page to which students can send
their K-12 math questions. Mathmagic posts challenges in each of four
categories (k-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12) to trigger each registered team to pair
up with another team and engage in a problem-solving dialog.
These Web-based lessons, software and projects are largely user-contributed
and constitute an active, high-quality portion of the Math Forum.
