SPIMSOW has created a page of information on each of the three programs used during our project. To find out information on the program of your choice, click on the program name.

SPIMSOW has created notebooks using these three math programs. Similar notebooks were created in Mathematica, Maple and MathView™ so that comparisons could be made between the presentations in each of the programs. For instance, the Functions with 1 and 2 Variables notebooks were created using Maple, Mathematica, and MathView™. Since MathView™ is less powerful than Maple and Mathematica, we were not able to create the more complicated notebooks of Finding Extrema and Approximations Using Taylor Polynomials in MathView™. Look at all three to decide for yourself which program you find most attractive and helpful. See our Notebooks Page .
