Making the graph

Highlight the cells you want to include

Select Make Chart... from the Options menu

Highlight the cells you want to include

  1. Your data should be in two columns side by side.

  2. While holding the mouse button down, drag the mouse from the upper left to the lower right of the data you want in your graph.

    Hint: if you include labels at the top of each column, the Make Chart option will label your axes.

Select Make Chart... from the Options menu

  1. Click on the Options menu item and...

  2. Drag your mouse down to Make Chart...

  3. If you are doing a graph with two columns of data (say, x in one column and y in the other), then you may select X-Y Line chart from the Gallery.

  4. If you want to modify the chart later, double click on it and the Chart Options window will pop up.

  5. Try experimenting with the different chart options.
