Judy's Allowance

Judy gets $6 per week for her allowance. This week she spent $2 to rent a video, $1 for a snack, and $2 for a pad of school paper. The rest, she put in her savings bank. Create a spreadsheet for Judy so she can keep track of her expenses. She will put her expenses into the categories: Entertainment, Food, School Supplies, and Savings.

Use the spreadsheet to create a graph of the data. What graph will best display the data so she can see what fraction or percent of her allowance she has spent in each category? What percent of her allowance did she spend on each category?

Make up some numbers for additional weeks of allowance and spending and put them in your spreadsheet table. Create a graph to show how she has spent her money at the end of 10 weeks.
