- Taught elementary mathematics methods in the Faculty of Education at Brock University for 28 years
- Taught at Memorial University in Newfoundland (6 years)
- Taught at all levels (Kindergarten through high school)
- Presented at over 100 NCTM Conferences (Regionals, Annuals)
- Presented at many Northwest Conferences, Provincial and State Conferences, etc.
- Active on many NCTM and NCSM Committees, and served as Canadian Director for NCSM
- Active in the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education (OAME) - served as President (twice), and in a variety of other roles
- Author of elementary school textbooks (Journeys in Math; Interactions; Math Makes Sense)
- Served with Ontario Ministry of Education Math Team implementing Math Initiatives for Grades K-3 and Grades 4-6
