They will accept any answer the calculator gives. This is fine if they have entered the correct numbers. Without a quick reliable way to see if the answer if close, they cannot check accuracy with readding and readding to see if the anser is the same. ex. 7091+8221+1089+5984 front end 7000+8000+1000+5000=21000 calculator 791+821+1000+500=3112 Quickly they cann tell something is wrong. Adults use this all the time!!
