From: Sophia <ylpun@streamyx.com> To: Teacher2Teacher Public Discussion Date: 2005080301:45:38 Subject: What number comes before or after Good day. My son is going to be 7 years old, but he is still having problem with mathematic statement which involves words of 'before' and 'after'. eg. a) What comes before 13 ? b) 13 is before ( ) ? He normally remembers 'before' is counting backward, so he will get (a) correct ( ans : 12 ), but (b) wrong. Do you have any suggestion to help him understanding Math statement ?
