From: matthew smith <matthew.t.smith@hotmail.co.uk> To: Teacher2Teacher Public Discussion Date: 2007112204:52:12 Subject: maths don't bother going into cubes you can introduce another variable by changing the step in the number grid. for example, go up in 2's, 3's, 4's .... t's. this introduces that fourth variable to get the A* D = n(t^2)(r-1)(s-1) for an r by s rectangle on an n by n grid going up in t's. hope this helps
