You did not say what grade level or what material you are marking. 
There are computer programs that can help keep you organized.  For k-4
math there are a lot of math games that keep the score for each
student.  You can also use resourse material like "DotMath for kids" 
that has graphics actvity to help them learn but does not require a
lot of marking.
