Subject: subtraction with regrouping

	
I teach the kids to begin in the ones place and put a dot next to the
greater number. If the greater number is on the bottom, then we
regroup. If it is on the top, we subtract like normal. This is a great
visual cue when they don't have manipulatives on the standardized
test.
