Relax: Here is a chance to vent. The following is a research project survey on Accelerated Math for master's degree course . Please, take some time to carefully fill it out, BUT FIRST CUT AND PASTE THIS SURVEY--- Thanks, Darren Miller, 4th grade teacher, Winchester Elementary, Hemet Unified School District, Hemet, CA. 1. Do you teach Elementary, Middle, or High School? Describe how do you utilize A.M. (Partially, certain days, full-time?) 2. How does your plan or time line for math standards match with the A.M. objective sequence? (Please be specific in your comparison) 3. What methods and materials do you use to get the students organized for A.M.? And precisely how do you help students to manage their paperwork? 4. How do you deal with absenteeism? and re-teaching (=Intervention) for A.M.? ( state specific methods or procedures) 5. Overview: Explain how you use exercises, quizzes, tests, and diagnostic tests? 6. Describe when and how you use group sharing or peer tutoring with A.M.? 7. How do you assign grades on A.M.? 8. Describe how A.M. goal setting works for you? Is it effective? 9. What measure of success does the A.M. program have over other programs? 10. How are the database network, service, and maintenance factors in running this program? 11.Please add any other comments about methods or procedures and how you teach the Accelerated Math Program, Thank You!
