Subject: Placement of Secondary School Math Students

Why don't principals and math educators in this country get it?

Secondary school students in grades (7-12) need to be given a Math
placement test at the conclusion of each school year in order to be
placed into the appropriate math course for the next year. This is
especially important for students coming out of the 7th, 8th, or 9th
grades since Teacher recommendations for math placements are often
filled with bias. Colleges do it why don't we?
