Subject: Re: Games/sample problems/web site for weak 8th grade student

Perhaps some problem solving prompts might be a good idea? That way
your student could practice some of the computational skills in a
problem solving setting. The site called MathStories has quite a bank
of such problems and you can find them here:


Another resource is RHL School - Free Worksheets and More which can be
found here:


Then if you are intested in something a little more involved, I would
suggest the Problems of the Week that the Math Forum hosts. There are
different levels and you can view both the current problems and the
archives here:
