Hello,

Perhaps you can help me understand how the Russian children approach
math.  A dyslexia specialist mentioned in an e-mail that this
wholistic, mental math approach is so much easier for children who
find the digit-by-digit approach to math difficult to master.  Would
you be kind enough to point me to some sources as well?
