Going uphill (excited) would be + slope; sitting on top (waiting his turn - neutral) = zero slope; coming downhill (almost over) = negative slope. If you come vertically downhill you will be undefined. Lots of math students could benefit! 2) An idea my students enjoy is to feature mathematicians, especially if you can relate to the month or to the subject matter. Remember, April is math month!
