With so many students of this age still at the concrete learning developmental stage, how do you incorporate manipulatives and hands-on activities for those students who are still learning at this level? 5. How do you make connections with math to the real world? 8. How would you plan a unit in math? Do you use the textbook as your main source of delivery, or is the standard you plan to teach chosen and then work on how to achieve that objective through various activities?
