From: Ellen Metzger <Ellen.Metzger@tlcdeaf.org> To: Teacher2Teacher Public Discussion Date: 2000121813:19:15 Subject: Liping Ma I have read Liping Ma's book, Knowing and Teaching Elementary Mathematics, and recommend it highly. It does not answer the last question, however, about a curriculum called Singapore Math. Liping Ma's book focuses on a comparison of TEACHERS'UNDERSTANDINGS of elementary math topics in China and the US. Find out more about Singapore Math on the website www.singaporemath.com.
