It teaches nine different number patterns on just one hand and then it shows the conceptional understanding of multiplication, division, equivalent fractions, etc... Students catch on to the number patterns quickly and then they are motivated to learn more. The workbooks contain everything you need to teach. It has stories to teach each number pattern, boogie boards, and number puppets. Slow learners catch on within minutes! Best of luck, Phil
