In the discussion of the median, maybe it would help students if the
median was view as the middle number And... that this then tells us
that half the items are higher than that number and half the items are
lower.  As in Joshua's discussions then half the people would make
more and half the people would make less...which might seem a more
representative statistic than the average salary beint $44,000.
