From: Mrs. Van Es <j.vanes@3web.net> To: Teacher2Teacher Public Discussion Date: 2004092412:19:30 Subject: Re: highest number placement chart available We require the knowledge of placement values after trillion. What is the higher placement value sequence? Below trillion are billions, millions, thousands, hundred, ten and one. The numbers are grouped in three representing from right to left: one, ten and hundred. This group of three is repeated continuously. The spaces which some place commas represent: the first space is thousand ie. 456 231, the second space is million ie. 576 456 231, the third space is billion ie. 984 576 456 231, the fourth space is trillion ie. 973 984 576 456 231. There appears to be a pattern of roman-latin language bi meaning 2, tri meaning 3. Does the next value have quart meaning 4, then pent meaning 5, sex meaning 6, sept meaning 7, oct meaning 8, non meaning 9 and dec meaning 10? I require definitive placement values greater than trillion. Should you have acquired highest number placement chart would you please share it with me.
