Subject: Teaching repeating decimals to 7th graders

	
These are all great explanations for how to convert a repeating
decimal to a fraction, but how do you explain the logic behind it to
7th graders?  I'm trying to come up with an explanation to get them to
"buy in" to how it works.  Any suggestions?
