Subject: Palindrome numbers
The next year which will be a palindrome is: 2002. The last
palindrome year was 1991. When will the next plaindrome year fall?
2112! Since we won't be around, take advantage of it by doing
palindrome number and word activities ("Madam, I'm Adam" for
example)this year. My students had fun finding palindromes during
2001, such as: 10-11-01. We also found shorter ones, such as: 01-10,
02-20, 03-30, 10-01, 11-11, 12-21. We found palindrome times on a
digital clock: 1:01, 1:11, 1:21, 1:31, 1:41, 1:51, 2:01, 2:11, 2:12,
2:22, 2:32, 2:42, 2:52, 2:02, 2:22, 2:32, 2:42, 2:52, 3:03, 3:13,
3:23, 3:33, 3:43, 3:53, 4:04, 5:05, 6:06, 7:07, 8:08, 9:09, 10:01,
11:11, 12:21, etc., etc.
