However, if you give them a 10-minute review sheet before each class and explain how this will help them, they will be more willing to do it. Prepare several review sheets (about 5 questions each), put them in a Review Basket. Then have the student pick the skills he/she needs to practice. They should also keep a progress log for themselves. Make them feel responsible while still offering some sort of reward. Good luck!
