From: Rachel Soetaert <rmswv8@mizzou.edu> To: Teacher2Teacher Public Discussion Date: 2003050210:33:50 Subject: middle school math for ESL students I tutor a spanish seventh grader and am having trouble teaching the concept of negative numbers to her. She is not grasping the number line, money transactions, or the 'chip board'. I appreciate any suggestions.
