South-Western Publishing Company (part of International Thomson Publishing) has a new series of algebra texts. The Algebra 2 text is ALGEBRA 2: An Integrated Approach, Copyright 1998 Gerver, Sgroi, Carter, Hansen, Molina, and Westegaard The text combines old and new with a nice use of technology, and each chapter starts with a data activity. An exam copy of the Student Edition is available and a demo version of Computer Interactive Algeblocks may be downloaded for Windows or Mac.
