My school began using a supplementary series called SpringBoard two years ago. Last year they began an every other month after school voluntary "study group" for the series. We hold different sessions for different levels (grades 6, 7, 8 and algebra), facilitated by our teacher specialist and master teachers from the district, sometimes held concurrently, sometimes on adjacent days. Everyone who teaches the units is invited to come, with a goal for at least one representative coming per school, who can then go back and share with the others. These sessions have helped teachers embrace the units and use them more effectively in their classrooms. I wish more teachers would come, but enough come to make a difference. -Gail, for the T2T service
