Hi Randy,

How much experience do you have using the safety compasses? One thing that is
different about them is that all the little holes around the edges (if you
are thinking of the same ones I am familiar with) have numbers next to them.
If you remember the number, then you know which hole you used to swing the
arc, and you can use the same hole to swing the arc needed on the other side.
It is possible to do the constructions, you just  have to pay attention to
the hole you insert your pencil into.
