The best thing would be to get your hands on an Algebra 2 book published by South-
Western Publishing. Throughout the book are things called AlgebraWorks with real
algebra on the job examples!

For example Real Estate Agent - Write a function that an agent can use to compute
a 3% commission on the selling price of a home.

Or Craft Worker - When Daria and Frank work together, it takes them 2 hours to
paint a single doll house. What fractional part of the job is complete in one hour
if they work together?

These are from the book.
