I have a slightly different take from Pat's on this subject. While there are elements in Geometry that are needed for Trig, it may be that your daughter could get these with a little help from a teacher prior to taking the Trig course. I have a question for you, however. What is the rush? There are some great topics in most Geometry courses today that students need to be encouraged to look at. Graph theory, visualization, and logic are all important items that can be introduced and/or developed in geometry. There just isn't a reason (from a math perspective) to rush to do more and more faster and faster, to end up at the same spot just a bit later. Good luck! Rick
