Subject: Estimation: Order of Magnitude, Compensation 

Please give me some techniques for teaching specific estimation strategies,
especially ORDER OF MAGNITUDE, COMPENSATION, etc. to 8th grade students.
Please include information on when a particular technique is preferred over
another.  Thank you very much.
