Wayne, Thanks for writing to Teacher2Teacher. The associates here are always willing to help out but generally need a more specific question to answer. Fractions is a broad topic. It includes understanding the idea of a fraction, writing equivalent fractions, doing operations such as adding or dividing with fractions... The list is quite long. If you could focus on a particular area, we would probably be able to provide the answers you need. If you are having trouble doing that, you might find the following responses in the Teachers' Lounge (http://mathforum.org/t2t/discuss) helpful: Multiplying Fractions http://mathforum.org/t2t/thread.taco?thread=5962 Subtracting fractions with borrowing http://mathforum.org/t2t/thread.taco?thread=5357 Beginning Fractions http://mathforum.org/t2t/thread.taco?thread=1746 Multiplying Fractions http://mathforum.org/t2t/thread.taco?thread=3589 Fractions http://mathforum.org/t2t/thread.taco?thread=1533 Thanks for being such a willing uncle to help your niece! -Kimberley, for the T2T service
