From our PoW archives: Lucky Lettuce Land Farmer Lucky decides to build a fence around his world-famous lettuce land. His lettuce land is in the shape of an "L," and the dimensions of the field are shown in the diagram on the left. Farmer Lucky has a problem. He is building a fence to keep the pesky rabbits out, but he needs 10 feet between the lettuce land and the fence to drive his tractor. How many feet of fence should he purchase? Bonus: The fence is sold in 27-foot segments. How many segments should Farmer Lucky buy? How many feet (if any) are left over?
