['Core Subject Taxonomy for Mathematical Sciences Education'] contains HTML, MS Word and PDF versions of the report. Also, you will find an ASCII listing of the final taxonomy. The bulk of this report and the work on the taxonomy was compiled by Douglas Cogswell (MERLOT, South Dakota State), Russell Herman (iLumina/UNC Wilmington) and Terese Herrera (Eisenhower Clearinghouse).
iLumina has a two level taxonomy past the discipline level. By rearranging the levels in the Core Subject Taxonomy for Mathematical Sciences Education, iLumina now provides a model showing how a slight modification in the above taxonomy can be used. Many of the topics have been used as can be seen in the ['iLumina Mapping to the Core Subject Taxonomy for Mathematical Sciences Education']. We would be interested in knowing how many other groups have adopted or mapped their taxonomies to the "Math NSDL" taxonomy.
['"Core" Subject Taxonomy for Mathematical Sciences Education "Final" Draft] immutable web page version.
/Core Subject Taxonomy For Mathematical Sciences Education Final Draft malleable wiki version (but don't mess up too much in case folks want to copy parts to comment about)
