Agenda and a Few Sketches
Today we'll split into grade groups and the veterans will introduce and lead Sketchpad activities appropriate to the beginning-of-the-year content while the new teachers play "student" and learn about Sketchpad. We'll get to practice Sketchpad but also practice teaching with Sketchpad - introducing activities, answering questions from "students", and providing closure. There will also be time for reflection on the activities, from both the teaching and learning standpoints.
All three grades will start with the first three tours from Geometry Activities for Middle School Students.
All of the sketches today will be on the P: drive, which will likely loosely model the procedure that you'll use in your schools. Those that do not come with one of the books that you already have are included below so that you can retrieve them later (and have them put on your server).
