To build a core group of users for the Geometry Forum and the
Math Forum, and to educate area teachers about the power of the Internet,
we have offered workshops entitled Geometry and the Internet,
Constructing Mathematics on the Internet, Developing Internet
Mathematics Projects and Resources, and Developing Mathematics
on the Internet. During the school year we have
run these workshops as weekend sessions on two consecutive Saturdays for
teachers from the Philadelphia area, and in the summer we've held week-long
institutes for educators from North America, England, and Australia.
The summer programs have resulted in some wonderful projects by
participants, many of them presented on the World Wide Web.
