A set of cards, numbered from 1 to 10, is sequenced and made into a deck held face down. They will be exposed in correct number order using the following procedure:

While spelling out each number word ("o-n-e", "t-w-o", etc.), a card is taken from the top and put onto the bottom of the deck for each letter; after spelling the word, the next card is turned up to reveal the number just spelled out. It is removed from the deck and placed face up.
