Rutgers/Lucent ALLIES IN TEACHING MATHEMATICS AND TECHNOLOGY Grant 2000
Using technology not simply to do things better, but to do better things.

A SEASHELL

Student: I prefer to think of computers as something more organic, such as a seashell. They are all hard and rigid on the outside, looking pretty lifeless and without volition of their own. However, if you put your ear to them, you will hear the winds blowing through from all over the world. Standing and listening closely to the inside of a shell, you will hear life, sense energy, and maybe even learn secrets from far away or deep inside yourself.
