Join Dr. Jason Silverman, Program Director of the Mathematics Learning and Teaching program, for an overview of our innovative online master's degree and certificate programs. These programs bring together the best of the Math Forum's 20 years of experience in online mathematics education and teacher preparation with the expertise of Drexel's nationally ranked School of Education, a leading provider of online teacher professional development.

The Mathematics Learning & Teaching program is designed for current middle and high school mathematics teachers as well as mathematically inclined elementary teachers. The Mathematics Learning and Teaching program is designed to support teachers in teaching mathematics where students learn with understanding, including supporting students in reasoning through the variety of complex mathematical situations that they encounter in the school mathematics curriculum. The program of study includes courses with explicit focus on unpacking and reconceptualizing the mathematics of the middle and high school curriculum and implementing student-centered and problem-based instructional practices and is situated within a community of practice model emphasizing the importance of collaboration and lifelong learning.
