General description of school and communities served

This program has been around for 26 years and I was one of the founding teachers along with two other persons. It is located in the heart of South Phila. in the state of Pa. We draw from all over the city because we are a magnet school, grades 5-12.

Next year's class assignment

I teach computer literacy to 5-8 graders and applications to 9-12 graders. I also will be teaching high school math this fall.

Any major interest outside of education?

Outside of school I am a very active person. I am married with three adult sons. I have two grand children and I am very involved in their lives. I also am an ordained minister and am very active in the church where my husband is the pastor. Summer for me is a time to learn new things and reflect on how good God has been and is to me.
