Kimberly Drake recently graduated with honors from Montclair State University in New Jersey with a B.S. in mathematics and Computer Science. She also received her teaching credentials for mathematics. She will be starting graduate school in the fall in the Math Department at North Carolina State University.

Kim is currently doing a SERS internship in the Education Program of the Lawrence Livermore National Lab in California, working on a Web-based traffic simulation for use in math and science classrooms. By July, her computer and Internet experience will include:

Kimberly would like to work on other simulations and receive feedback from classroom teachers about hers. She seeks ideas and lessons based on the simulation which could be included as part of the project's Web pages. This summer she will be involved in an Atmospheric Dispersion Modeling Education Project simulation; pending its completion, she would like feedback on that as well.
