E-mail: sogervais@eee.orgStephen Gervais teaches mathematics at Cajon High School in San Bernardino, CA. Although the school has yet to develop an easy way for students to access the Internet - the district and administration are working toward access in the near future - he himself has direct access and reads the k12.ed.math newsgroup. For three years he has taught International Baccalaureate Math Studies with a major emphasis on discrete math topics; he chooses the material to cover and how to present it and would like to expand the course into more alternative activities, while continuing to include as a major component a personal project by each student.
