The Math Forum held a Resource Development Institute July 15-19 at Swarthmore College for pioneering K-12 mathematics teachers. This conference was an invitational program for math teachers experienced in using the Internet in the classroom.
In addition to the 13 onsite Institute participants, many more people were able to take part via the Internet. During the course of the workshop, a concerted effort was made to involve the online community in our lessons, demonstrations, and (especially) working groups.
It's not too late to get involved - or follow in our footsteps. Although the 1996 Institute is history, readers are still encouraged to contribute to working groups, enjoy the shared lessons, and work through the tutorials below. As a post-Institute participant, you can follow our agenda and learn from our work.
