Introductory Activity

Here's a suggested opening activity for the Rhythms and Ratios Unit.
The activity is designed to help the teacher and students assess their understanding of ratio and fraction concepts.

Stuff you need

• Snap cubes or other manipulative that can be used to make patterns. Being able to link the cubes helps an awful lot when people need to compare contrasting patterns.
