- Changing the value of b in cell W6 affects the values in the table. Describe the relationship between the values in the X and Y columns when m is left as 1 and:
- Increasing or decreasing the value of b also affects the graph. Describe the change in the graph when m = 1 and:

b is changed from 0 to 1/2
b is changed from 0 to -6
- Find the y-intercept for each of the following:
y = 3x+2

- In the equation y = mx+b, m affects the steepness and direction of the line. What does b control?
