More information about the course can be found on her homepage (partly in English):
This will be a distance education course that will last 5 months. We'll be using a virtual learning environment (intranet) and the participants will use email, share interesting URLs, discuss in real time, surf interesting math sites etc. The participants will meet together five times during the course for lectures and group.
Kaisa has worked for a long time as a Math teacher at the secondary level and has tried to find methods for using the Internet when teaching Math. She has participated in several projects with her students and have also arranged some.
She is especially interested about all kinds of puzzles and their use for Math lessons.
