2 - 3 pm Eastern time: We had a video conference with teachers from Terry's school. We also set up a conference call so that others could join in. The initial foci of the conversation were:

  • How do people use technology to prompt and support classroom discussion?
  • In the conventional classroom the teacher speaks and the student takes notes-- hopefully, anyway. What replaces note-taking in the tech-rich classroom? Are there conflicts as students choose to make paper or electronic notes? How do we deal with these conflicts?
